Jared Gilmore

Jared Scott Gilmore was born on May 30, 2000, in San Diego, California. His acting career began unintentionally after talent representatives noticed his twin sister. He initially gained experience through modeling and commercials. Gilmore attended John Robert Powers San Diego, a training school for actors, models, and singers, for two years during his early development into the entertainment industry. He held early minor roles in productions such as ‘Roommates,’ ‘Wilfred,’ ‘Without a Trace,’ ‘Eleventh Hour,’ ‘The Back-up Plan,’ and ‘Hawthorne.’ In 2009, he was cast as Bobby Draper in ‘Mad Men,’ becoming the third actor to portray the character.

In 2011, Gilmore departed from ‘Mad Men’ to take on the role of Henry Mills in ABC’s ‘Once Upon a Time.’ He played Henry, the adopted son of Regina Mills and biological son of Emma Swan, a role that required both precociousness and vulnerability. His performance in ‘Once Upon a Time’ led to a win at the 33rd Young Artist Awards for Best Performance in a TV Series – Leading Young Actor. He was also nominated for the same award at the 34th Young Artist Awards and recognized as part of the ‘Mad Men’ ensemble that won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series in 2010. Gilmore described his experience in the entertainment industry as a chance to mature professionally and influence people.

Following his role in the ‘Once Upon a Time’ series finale in May 2018, Gilmore transitioned from acting to streaming. In March 2019, he joined the Overwatch League team Atlanta Reign as a streamer under the handle ‘CowboyBeBAMF.’ Later, in February 2020, he was signed to the Overwatch Contenders team Skyfoxes. He continues to stream on Twitch under the name ‘Nightingale_Styx.’ In November 2023, Gilmore announced his engagement after four years of dating.
