Jayden Bartels

Jayden Isabel Bartels was born on November 1, 2004, in Los Angeles, California. Her early immersion in musical theater, ballet, hip hop, jazz, songwriting, and acting at age eight laid the groundwork for her diverse career. Bartels gained initial recognition on TikTok (then musical.ly) in 2016, quickly amassing over 8.3 million followers. Her parents, initially hesitant about her social media involvement, eventually supported her by assisting in video production, which allowed her to create a large volume of content daily. To manage her burgeoning career, Bartels was homeschooled.

Bartels began her acting career at age 11 in 2015, appearing in various episodic television roles. Her early credits include “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn,” “Walk the Prank,” “Kidding,” and “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.” In 2018, she took on a main role in the television film “To the Beat!” and a recurring role as Peyton in Disney Channel’s “Coop & Cami Ask the World” (2018-2020). Her career continued to expand with appearances in films like “Grand-Daddy Day Care” (2019).

In 2020, Jayden Bartels secured a lead role as Presley in Nickelodeon’s buddy comedy “Side Hustle,” which ran for two seasons until 2022. During this period, she also co-hosted Nickelodeon’s pop culture talk show “Group Chat.” Beyond acting, Bartels has pursued a musical career, releasing her first single in 2018 and continuing to produce original music featured on all major streaming platforms. She has toured both in Europe and the United States in 2019 and 2020. Her YouTube channel serves as a platform for vlogs, clothing hauls, and self-directed music videos, showcasing her creative control over her content. She is slated to appear in the second season of the supernatural horror series “Goosebumps” in 2025 and has an upcoming role in the film “Lullaby.”
