American professional poker player Jeff Gross is known for his Twitch and YouTube channels, and is a part of the partypoker team.

A talented soccer player in his youth, Gross was first exposed to poker when someone bought a poker set with them to his soccer camp. He was always a fan of board games and video games and was instantly hooked on this strategic, high stakes game. He started to play regularly and host matches at his house, earning money online as a poker player alongside his full time soccer training schedule for the Michigan Wolves. He went to the University of South Carolina on a part athletic scholarship, but it was while he was there that he realised poker was the career path for him. After graduation he started travelling further for competitions, such as Las Vegas in 2010 when he had his first big win and realised live poker was where his passion truly lied. Gross started to work his way up the ranks, entering higher and higher stakes games such as the Alpha 8 tournament at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, and competing for WSOP and WPT titles.

Gross has also branched out into other online platforms, becoming a popular Twitch streamer and the host of his own podcast in collaboration with his sponsor, partypoker. He’s now a well loved figure in the world of poker, and continues to pursue his passion with competitions around the world.
