Jennifer Finnigan

Jennifer Finnigan, born on August 22, 1979, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, began her acting career in Canadian productions before moving to the United States. She gained significant recognition for her role as Bridget Forrester in the American soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful” from 2000 to 2004. During this period, Finnigan received three consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series (2002, 2003, 2004), a notable achievement in her early career.

Her career expanded into various television roles, including starring as Annabeth Chase in the CBS legal drama “Close to Home” from 2005 to 2007. She also appeared as Marni Fliss in the NBC series “Committed” and had a recurring role as Dr. Devan Maguire in “Crossing Jordan.” In 2013, she took on the role of Dr. Tina Ridgeway in David E. Kelley’s TNT series “Monday Mornings.” Finnigan further demonstrated her range by playing Molly Al-Fayeed in the FX political drama “Tyrant” from 2014 to 2016 and as Pentagon press secretary Grace Barrows in the CBS sci-fi thriller “Salvation” from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, she made her directorial debut in 2013 with the romantic comedy “A Bet’s A Bet.”

More recently, Finnigan has been starring as Lidia Bennett in the CBC dramedy “Moonshine” from 2021 to 2023, a role for which she also served as an associate producer. Her work continues to span acting, producing, and directing, showcasing a consistent presence in television for over two decades. She is fluent in French and is the daughter of popular Montreal radio personality Jack Finnigan.
