Jennifer Garner transitioned from theatrical roles to become a Golden Globe-winning actress, producer, and advocate for early childhood education. After her critically acclaimed role as CIA agent Sydney Bristow in the ABC action thriller series ‘Alias’ (20012006), a role specifically written for her by J. J. Abrams, Jennifer Garner went on to earn a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress Television Series Drama and four Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
Garner graduated from Denison University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theater performance in 1994, before moving to New York City in 1995 to begin her acting career. Her early professional credits included miniseries such as ‘Zoya’ (1995), ‘Harvest of Fire’ (1996), and ‘Dead Man’s Walk’ (1996), as well as appearances in ‘Spin City’ and ‘Law & Order’. She secured her first leading role in the television film ‘Rose Hill’ (1997) and made her feature film debut in ‘Washington Square’ (1997), followed by a recurring role in J. J.
Beyond entertainment, Garner has dedicated herself to early childhood education, joining Save the Children USA as an Artist Ambassador in 2009 and later serving on its Board of Trustees starting in 2014. In 2018, she co-founded Once Upon a Farm, an organic baby food company, where she serves as Chief Brand Officer. More recently, Garner executive produced and starred in the Netflix family film ‘Yes Day’ (2021), starred in ‘The Adam Project’ (2022), and executive produced and starred in the Apple TV+ limited series ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’ (2023).
