Jessica Washington

Jessica Washington’s elite basketball career began with a gold medal with the United States U17 National Team at the 2012 World Championships. In 2013, she earned McDonald’s All-America honors and participated in the WBCA High School All-America Game before beginning her collegiate career with the North Carolina Tar Heels. Over two seasons (2013-2015), Washington played in all 37 games with 13 starts as a freshman (2013-14), averaging 5.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, leading the team in assists in 11 contests. During her sophomore year (2014-15), she played in all 35 games, averaging 7.3 points and 2.4 rebounds, ranking fourth on the team in scoring and third in three-point shooting, and registered a career-high 20 points against Clemson in the 2015 ACC Tournament.

Her 61 three-pointers that season ranked among the top 10 single-season marks for a Jayhawk. After missing the 2017-18 season due to injury, she returned in 2018-19, earning Big 12 Player of the Week honors twice and Desert Division MVP at the Duel in the Desert Tournament, averaging 13.9 points in 16 games with a 40.4 percent three-point shooting accuracy. Transitioning to professional basketball, Washington signed her first international contract, competing in Greece for Sporting WBC. Beyond the court, she has leveraged her athletic prowess and strategic acumen to embark on a career in entrepreneurship and media.

Washington is the co-founder of FMF Vegas, an innovative enterprise that encompasses entertainment, technology, media, and marketing. Further expanding her impact, Washington serves as the National Program Director for UNL, where her leadership was recognized with the ‘Team Spark of the Month’ award. Demonstrating her versatile appeal, she also engages a broad audience as an influencer, providing personalized fan interactions through platforms such as Cameo.
