Interior designer and television personality Jillian Harris is known for appearing on several reality shows including The Bachelor and Extreme Makeover.
Harris’s career in interior design didn’t start out the traditional way. While she was working at Caban, a homewares store, she realised she loved giving design consultations to customers, and was soon hired to design several restaurants for the Cactus Club Cafe chain. She went on to design Browns Socialhouse too, and gained a formal qualification in interior design in 2006. A few years later she competed on season 13 of The Bachelor, making it all the way through to the final stages of the competition and coming in third place. Harris was then selected to be the first ever Canadian Bachelorette on the spin off series of the popular dating show, going on to use the fanbase she had created to further her interior design career. Since The Bachelorette she has headlined the Calgary Home + Design Show, hosted Canada’s Handyman Challenge, appeared on Love It or List It Canada and worked as a designer for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
In recent years, Harris has appeared in her own reality documentary series starring her and her husband Justin, as well as writing a vegan cookbook and working with wellbeing brand Saje Natural Wellness. This multi-talented designer, presenter and TV personality continues to create beautiful and inspiring products and help people realise their design dreams.
