Jim Wilson is an Australian sports journalist, reporter, and radio presenter known for his extensive career covering major sporting events and anchoring news bulletins. After making Australian television history in August 2012 as the first sports presenter to anchor Seven News Sydney alongside his wife, presenter Chris Bath, Jim Wilson went on to build a career spanning over 38 years in journalism, marked by extensive coverage of major sporting events globally. Wilson’s professional journey began as a cadet at Brisbane’s Courier Mail, followed by a role as a sport reporter at the Nine Network in Brisbane before joining the Seven Network in 1992.
