Prior to his collegiate success, Juzang was a standout at Harvard-Westlake School, where in his freshman year, he averaged 16.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and two assists, securing a CIF Southern Section Division 1A championship. His sophomore season saw further development, with averages of 22.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists. In his junior season (2019), Juzang was recognized as the Mission League’s most valuable player, contributing 23 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists, and helping Harvard-Westlake claim its first league title since 2011. A four-star recruit, he reclassified to the 2019 class, committing to the University of Kentucky in May 2019, where he played his freshman year (2019-2020) averaging 2.9 points in 12.4 minutes.

Juzang transferred to UCLA for his sophomore season (2020-2021), where he quickly became a pivotal player, earning second-team All-Pac-12 honors. In his junior season (2021-2022), despite facing injuries, Juzang led UCLA in scoring and continued to garner significant accolades, receiving third-team All-American honors from the NABC and first-team All-Pac-12 recognition. Following an impressive collegiate career, Juzang transitioned to professional basketball, signing a two-way contract with the Utah Jazz in 2022. He further committed to the Jazz organization with a four-year contract signed in August 2024, continuing to hone his skills and contribute as a shooting guard at the highest level of professional competition.

In August 2025, Johnny Juzang joined the Minnesota Timberwolves, signing a one-year contract. As a key shooting guard, he continues to build his professional legacy, leveraging his proven collegiate track record and developing NBA experience to contribute to his team’s success in the competitive Western Conference.
