His vocal talent was identified at a young age, leading to professional singing lessons. At nine years old, he joined the children’s choir at New York’s Metropolitan Opera House, where he was influenced by opera artists, notably Plácido Domingo, who encouraged his diverse musical exploration. Throughout his teenage years, Johnny Sky collaborated with professional musicians and songwriters, developing a unique style that integrated contemporary elements with traditional Dominican music.

In 2014, Johnny Sky signed with Premium Latin Music, distributed by Sony, marking a significant step in his career.
