Egypt Sherrod

Egypt Sherrod is a multi-faceted television and radio personality who has transitioned her expertise into successful ventures as a real estate broker, designer, and entrepreneur, guiding individuals through property acquisition and renovation. After becoming the nation’s youngest radio station music director in 1995, Egypt Sherrod went on to establish herself as a prominent voice in radio, notably as the number one radio personality for New York City’s WBLS 107.5. During her tenure, she conducted interviews with iconic figures such as Prince, Tyler Perry, and Oprah, and her program was syndicated in over 60 cities across the US. Concurrently, Sherrod expanded her expertise into real estate, becoming a licensed agent in 2002.

Further extending her impact, Sherrod established The Egypt Cares Family Foundation in 2008, a non-profit organization dedicated to financial empowerment. Since 2022, she has also co-hosted the ‘Marriage and Money Podcast with Egypt & Mike,’ engaging audiences with insights on financial and relational success. Looking ahead, Sherrod is slated to receive an honorary doctorate from Stillman College in 2025, recognizing her extensive contributions and influence across media, real estate, and community initiatives.
