Jolin Tsai

Jolin Tsai is a Taiwanese singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and businesswoman, recognized globally as the “Queen of C-Pop” for her innovative music and boundary-pushing performances. After winning a television singing competition produced by MTV Mandarin in 1998, Jolin Tsai went on to sign with Universal in March 1999, releasing her debut album, ‘1019,’ in September of the same year. This initial success established her as a teen idol, followed by commercially successful albums including ‘Don’t Stop’ (2000), which sold over 500,000 copies in Taiwan and remains her highest-selling album in the region, and ‘Show Your Love’ (2000). Her music video for ‘Fall in Love with a Street’ received the International Viewers’ Choice award at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2001.
