Brandon Michael Hall

Brandon Micheal Hall was born on February 3, 1993, in Anderson, South Carolina. He was raised by his single mother, a minister. Hall attended Pendleton High School before transferring to the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts & Humanities in Greenville. He then pursued drama at The Juilliard School in New York City, graduating in 2015. His early career included minor television roles, building a foundation for his subsequent success in both comedic and dramatic projects.

Hall’s breakthrough came with his series regular role as Julian Marcus on the TBS dark comedy ‘Search Party,’ which premiered in 2016. Following this, he secured the title role in the ABC sitcom ‘The Mayor’ in 2017, where he portrayed an aspiring rapper who unexpectedly becomes mayor of his hometown. In 2018, Hall took on another leading role as Miles Finer in the CBS comedy-drama ‘God Friended Me,’ playing an atheist podcaster who receives divine-like friend requests. His career has also extended to film, with appearances in ‘Monster Party’ (2018) and ‘Always a Bridesmaid’ (2019), and theatre, making his Broadway debut in ‘Trouble in Mind’ in 2021.

Throughout his career, Hall has demonstrated a range of acting abilities across different genres and platforms.
