Jonah Prill is one of Country music’s most intriguing new artists. The rising Country star first charmed more than a million people across the US and around the globe with his simple way of life and Country boy charm on his hugely popular social media accounts. Although dubbed by some as the “TikTok cowboy”, Prill isn’t a typical social media influencer, and his ability to blend his down-town home upbringing into the music and lyrics of his songs is causing a buzz on the Country music scene as he shares his music with the world.
Born and raised in Montana, Prill grew up surrounded by mountains and with a huge appreciation for the great outdoors. The talented singer/songwriter comes from pure country music pedigree, and is the grandson of ‘Lottin Dottin’ singer Dean Evans. Prill grew up listening to country music, and after a while picked up a guitar and began to sit around a bonfire every night experimenting with lyrics and chords trying to find his unique sound. For several years he worked with cattle during the day and played music at night, starting with small gigs in local bars.
After embracing modern media, Prill created a TikTok account and began posting content of himself working on a ranch in Wyoming or with cattle in Montana. He then began to post the music that told the story of his upbringing and lifestyle, drawing inspiration from the likes of Jon Pardi and Cody Johnson. As his social media following soared to over 1 million fans across Instagram and TikTok, the gifted songwriter began to get booked at gigs across the USA. With tons of talent and undeniable western charm, Prill is one to watch.
