Jonathan Taylor Thomas is an American actor, voice actor, and director, recognized for his roles in family entertainment and his transition into directing. After gaining widespread recognition with his casting as Randy Taylor on the ABC sitcom Home Improvement in 1990, Jonathan Taylor Thomas became a prominent figure in family entertainment for seven years. His career began at age seven as a model for print advertisements and TV commercials for major brands such as Kelloggs cereal and Mattel toys. Prior to his breakthrough role, he made his television debut in 1989, securing the role of Kevin Brady in ‘The Bradys,’ a spin-off of ‘The Brady Bunch.’ His extended tenure on Home Improvement solidified his status as a recognizable talent on primetime television.

Following his notable acting career, Thomas transitioned into directing, showcasing his talent behind the camera. Between 2013 and 2016, he directed three episodes of the popular TV series Last Man Standing, marking a significant return to television in a new capacity.
