The professional American baseball outfielder was always destined for a career in the sport. Graduating from Buchanan High School in California, Jordan Luplow started playing college baseball at Fresno State. As a sophomore he played a total of 41 games, as well as becoming an all star for the Alaska Baseball League in 2012, and the Orleans Firebirds in 2013. There was no surprise when Jordan was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates at the 2014 MLB draft. However he made his professional debut with Short Season Jamestown. Following his debut, Jordan played with West Virginia Power in 2015, where he was converted to third-base, and Bradenton, in 2016, who moved him back to outfielder. 2017 marked Jordan’s major league debut, when the Pirates’ regular right fielder was placed on the disable list. On the very night he was called up, the outfielder played with the Pirates against the San Diego Padres. In September of the same year Jordan got his first career hit and multi-run homerun, seeing the Pirates to victory over the Cincinnati Reds 5-0.
