Jordan McLaughlin is a professional basketball player who currently represents the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA. After a successful college sports career for the USC Trojans, McLaughlin was a shoo in for the big leagues, and has since proved himself to be a beast on the court.
McLaughlin made big leaps into his basketball career through his college career. He had an average of 12.1 points per game, but was also a team player and had plenty of assists. In 2017, he led his college team to victory many times and earned himself a nomination for the Bob Cousy award for collegiate excellence in basketball.
Once he left college, McLaughlin was faced with the crushing realization that he hadn’t been drafted for the NBA, but he didn’t give up. After playing for the Brooklyn Nets between 2018 and 2019, he began intensive training in order to get himself into the NBA.
In 2019, McLaughlin finally made his way to the top, entering the NBA with his current team, the Minnesota Timberwolves. He has excelled as a part of the team, scoring his career-best in a match against the LA Clippers in 2020, where he achieved twenty-four points and eleven assists.
McLaughlin has a modest Twitter following of just over six thousand people, but his fans are devoted and he receives a lot of interaction from them. He uses his platform to share basketball news and to give his fans updates on his career.
