After leveraging her English literature degree and extensive experience gained working in professional restaurants and bakeries, Joy Wilson launched her acclaimed ‘Joy the Baker’ blog in 2008. Consistently sharing original and perfected recipes at least once a week, Wilson rapidly cultivated a loyal readership, transforming a personal project into a comprehensive brand. This success led to her first published work, the highly popular Joy the Baker Cookbook, establishing her as a leading voice in home baking.

Wilson continued to expand her culinary footprint with two additional bestselling cookbooks, Homemade Decadence and Over Easy, further cementing her reputation for accessible and delicious recipes.
