Juan Cuadrado

Juan Guillermo Cuadrado Bello, born on May 26, 1988, in Necoclí, Colombia, developed a passion for football at a young age, encouraged by his mother. He began his youth career at Manchester F.C. Apartadó and later joined Independiente Medellín, where his versatility as a forward, midfielder, and full-back became evident. His professional debut with Independiente Medellín in 2008 saw him score his first senior goal, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey in football.

Cuadrado’s career progressed rapidly with a move to Italy in 2009, joining Serie A club Udinese. After a loan spell at Lecce in the 2011–12 season, where his impressive performances stood out despite the team’s relegation, he transferred to Fiorentina in 2012. Here, he solidified his reputation as a formidable winger, contributing significantly to the team’s success with his pace, dribbling, and goal-scoring ability. His time at Fiorentina, particularly during the 2013–14 season, showcased his talent on a broader stage, culminating in a transfer to Chelsea in 2015.

Following a brief period at Chelsea, Cuadrado returned to Italy, joining Juventus on loan in 2015, a move that later became permanent. At Juventus, he achieved significant success, winning multiple Serie A titles and Coppa Italia trophies. His career at Juventus was marked by his adaptability, often playing as an attacking right-back under various managers, and his contributions in creating goals. After a successful tenure with Juventus, he moved to Inter Milan in 2023 and then to Atalanta in 2024, continuing to contribute to top-tier Italian football. In 2025, he joined Pisa, demonstrating his enduring presence in the Serie A league.
