Julia Sude

Julia Sude was born on September 2, 1987, in Giessen, West Germany. She developed an interest in volleyball at a young age, leading her to a professional career in beach volleyball. Sude has represented Germany in numerous competitions, accumulating a record of achievements throughout her career. Her journey in professional beach volleyball began to gain significant traction, establishing her as a notable figure in the sport.

Sude has consistently ranked among the top players in beach volleyball. Her career highlights include bronze medals at the European Championships in Jūrmala in 2017 and Vienna in 2021. She also participated in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where her team finished in the 19th position. Her presence on the international circuit has involved partnerships with various teammates, contributing to her sustained success and competitive standing in the sport. These partnerships include a significant period with Chantal Laboureur from 2015 to 2018, and later with Karla Borger starting in 2019.

Throughout her career, Sude has competed in various World Tour events, consistently demonstrating her skills and dedication. For instance, at the 2016 Grand Slam in Long Beach, California, her team secured a bronze medal. Her career reflects continued engagement in high-level competition, including FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League events.
