Justine Smethurst

Justine Smethurst earned a bronze medal with the Australian softball team at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, where she was notably the youngest member of the squad. Prior to her Olympic debut, Smethurst had already accumulated 20 caps for the national team, participating in international tours of the US, Canada, and Japan in 2005. Her distinguished career began earlier, with representation for Victoria across various age-group teams, including U13, U14, and U16, at national championships, culminating in a national title with her Victorian junior team in 2001.
