D’Kyla Paige Woolen, known professionally as Kaash Paige, was born on January 8, 2001, in Dallas, Texas. She began her musical journey during high school, recording and uploading tracks to SoundCloud, where she quickly garnered local attention. Her early efforts led to interest from various record labels. In early 2019, Kaash Paige signed with Se Lavi Productions and Def Jam Recordings, and she was managed by Roc Nation. This period marked a significant turning point in her career, transitioning from an independent SoundCloud artist to a major label signee. Her sound, characterized by a blend of R&B, rap, and soulful melodies, quickly resonated with a wider audience.
Her career gained significant momentum with the release of her single “Love Songs.” This track achieved widespread popularity, going viral across multiple social media platforms. It spent six weeks at the top of Spotify’s global viral chart and appeared on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart. Following this success, she released her debut extended play, “Parked Car Convos,” on November 15, 2019. The project further solidified her presence in the R&B scene, featuring the hit “Love Songs” which later received a remix with 6lack in January 2020. Kaash Paige continued to expand her collaborations, appearing on the track “Euphoria” with Don Toliver and Travis Scott in March 2020.
