Kamie Crawford is a former Miss Teen USA and a TV host with a passion for all things beauty, fashion, and pop culture. Crawford has always been interested in investigative journalism and is now putting her skills to the test as the co-host of MTV’s blockbuster series “Catfish: The TV Show” with Nev Schulman. Crawford is devoted to leveraging her influence to magnify the importance of body positivity and diversity in the digital sphere as well as in the influencer/digital arena, which often lacks inclusivity.
She was also highly involved with the Civics for the Culture Initiative, which aimed to draw BIPOC voters to the polls, and she serves as the Congressional Black Caucus PAC’s Voter Engagement Ambassador. Through education and social media campaigning, she has teamed up with the California Department of Health, the Pandemic Action Network, and the NAACP to address vaccine reluctance among Black and Brown populations. Crawford is passionate about empowering young girls and uplifting the youth. She is LGBTQ+ affirming, and her dedication to assisting underrepresented groups and communities has led her to become a Best Buddies ambassador.
Crawford recently launched her relationship advice podcast, “Relationsh*t” with Dear Media Studios available on all streaming platforms.
