Kao Miura

Kao Miura is a Japanese figure skater who has achieved significant milestones in both junior and senior international competitions, including a World Junior Championship and a Four Continents title. After becoming the Japanese national novice champion in 2017, Kao Miura quickly established himself as a prominent figure in figure skating. This early success earned him an invitation to skate in the gala at the 2017 NHK Trophy. Miura made his Junior Grand Prix debut in Latvia in 2019, where he placed seventh and notably became the youngest Japanese skater to successfully land a quadruple toe loop in international competition.

Further showcasing his consistent excellence, Miura won gold at the 2023 CS Finlandia Trophy and the 2023 Grand Prix of Espoo, alongside a silver medal at the 2023 Skate Canada International. Building on his successes, Miura commenced the 2023-24 season by securing first place at the 2024 Tallink Hotels Cup and achieved a personal best short program score of 102.96 in 2024. He continued his strong national presence by placing fourth in the 2023-24 Japan Championships.
