Kayla Skrlik

Kayla Skrlik is an accomplished Canadian curler and skip, leading her team to provincial championships and competing at national and international levels. After leading Northern Alberta to a gold medal at the 2014 Arctic Winter Games, Kayla Skrlik quickly established herself as a formidable Canadian curler. She went on to skip Team Alberta at the 2016 U18 International Curling Championships, where she achieved a competitive 3–2 round-robin record. Building on this junior success, Skrlik represented Alberta at the 2018 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, guiding her team to a strong 7–3 record and securing a fourth-place finish nationally, narrowly missing the playoffs.

Leading a refined team lineup, she secured her second Alberta Women’s Curling Championship, defeating Nicky Kaufman in the final. This victory once again qualified her team for the 2025 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, where they achieved a strong 6–2 round-robin record and a fourth-place finish. On the Tour, her team continued its success with a second-place finish at the 2024 PointsBet Invitational and a win at the Martensville International. These achievements culminated in her team’s first appearance in a Tier 1 Grand Slam of Curling event, the 2025 Masters, signifying her firm presence among the sport’s top competitors.
