Kendall Marshall is best known for his time as a brilliant professional basketball player, appearing for the Phoenix Suns, and his time as a professional basketball coach. Drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2012 NBA draft, Marshall was with the thirteenth overall pick, and went on to win the Bob Cousy Award in recognition of his dedication to the sport.
After beginning his career in college, before turning professional, Marshall had already cemented himself as a player to watch in the game, and was even labelled one of the best passers in college basketball history, leading his college team to consecutive ACC Tournament finals and NCAA Elite Eight. He is currently the second player in ACC history for assists per game and also established the ACC single-season records for assist average. During his career he had the opportunity to play for several fantastic teams, including the Phoenix Suns, the LA Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers. Since his retirement as a player, he has since moved on to become a student assistant coach at UNC, then assumed the position of Director Of Recruiting, a post designed for Marshall.
Marshall was also drafted for the National Team for the 2017 FIBA AmeriCup, where he won a gold medal, and gained an army of loyal fans.
