Kerem Kanter

Kerem Kanter has established a professional basketball career across multiple international leagues after a notable college career in the United States, showcasing consistent performance as a power forward and center. After contributing to the Turkish U-18 National Team’s gold medal victory at the 2013 U-18 European Championships in Riga, Latvia, Kerem Kanter established a robust professional basketball career following a distinguished collegiate tenure in the United States. As a junior, Kanter served as the team’s second-leading scorer (11.3 points per game) and leading rebounder (6.3 rebounds per game), gaining ESPN SportsCenter recognition in 2016 for scoring 20 consecutive points against Central Michigan. For his graduate year (2017-18), Kanter transferred to Xavier University, starting 16 games and finishing second in the BIG EAST in field goal percentage (.584).

Kanter’s trajectory continued into 2024, playing for ADA Blois Basket 41 (France), followed by a tenure with BC Avtodor (Russia) for the 2024-2025 season. Currently, he is a key player for the Seoul Samsung Thunders in the Korean Basketball League, a role he commenced in 2025.
