Kevin Michael Alejandro was born on April 7, 1976, in San Antonio, Texas. He grew up in Snyder, Texas, where he developed an interest in drama and football. His high school drama teacher played a pivotal role in his early career, helping him secure a four-year scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin. Alejandro later established a scholarship in his teacher’s name to support young aspiring theatre artists. His journey into acting saw him sell all his possessions to relocate to Los Angeles, California, demonstrating his commitment to his craft.

Alejandro’s acting career spans over two decades, marked by notable television roles. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Nate Moretta in the crime drama “Southland” (2009–2011), Jesus Velasquez in the supernatural thriller “True Blood” (2010–2012), and Sebastian Blood / Brother Blood in the superhero series “Arrow” (2013–2014). From 2016 to 2021, he starred as Detective Daniel Espinoza in the comedy-crime drama “Lucifer” for 92 episodes across both Fox and Netflix.
