Lana Parrilla has established a distinguished career in television and film, recognized for her versatile acting across various genres. After earning an Imagen Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Teresa in the crime drama Boomtown (2002–2003), Lana Parrilla went on to establish a distinguished career in television and film. She made her television debut in 1999 on the UPN sitcom Grown Ups and in 2000, joined the cast of the ABC comedy series Spin City as Angie Ordonez for one season. Her early film credits included Very Mean Men (2000), Spiders (2000), and Frozen Stars (2003).
