Lara Cox was born on March 6, 1978, in Canberra, Australia. Before beginning her acting career, she worked as a model. She attended Daramalan College and Menai College. Cox gained early recognition for her role as Anita Scheppers in the television series ‘Heartbreak High’, appearing in the main role from 1996 to 1999. Following this, she took on various roles, demonstrating her versatility in both Australian and international productions. She is married to Jeff Springer and they have two children.

Her filmography includes notable features such as ‘Kangaroo Jack’ (2003), where she played a cute girl on a plane, and ‘The Marine 2’ (2009), in which she portrayed Robin Linwood. She also appeared in ‘The Makeover’ (2009) as Patricia Bartlett and ‘Women He’s Undressed’ (2015) as Ginger Rogers.
