Larry Sanders

During his junior season at VCU, Sanders demonstrated significant impact on the court, averaging 14.4 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2.6 blocks. His exceptional collegiate performance led to him being drafted 15th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2010 NBA Draft. He subsequently signed a multi-year rookie contract and made his professional debut on October 27, 2010, solidifying his position as a prominent defensive player in the league. His career with the Milwaukee Bucks saw a breakout season in 2012-13, where Sanders showcased his versatile defensive capabilities.

On November 30, 2012, he recorded a career triple-double, tallying 10 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 blocks in a single game. That season, he finished second in the entire league for blocks per game, cementing his reputation as one of the NBA’s elite shot-blockers. Recognizing his substantial potential and impact, the Bucks extended his contract with a four-year, $44 million deal signed in August 2013. Sanders continued to play as a formidable center and power forward before his contract was bought out by the team in February 2015.
