Lauren Socha

English actress Lauren Socha is widely recognised for portraying Kelly Bailey in the E4 comedy-drama Misfits. Winning a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress for her part in the show, she has also made a notable appearance in Channel 4 television film The Unloved. One of Britain’s most brightest young talents, she is set to have an indelible impact on the global entertainment industry in years to come.

The Derby-born star was first spotted at a local drama workshop, landing a part in the Arctic Monkeys video When The Sun Goes Down in 2006 at only 15 years old. Her part in The Unloved saw her star in Samantha Morton’s directorial debut, taking on the difficult role of a young girl in foster care. Socha has also acted in mini-series Five Daughters, based on the tragic Ipswich Murders, and the short film Missing. She more recently played a version of Marylin Monroe in The Child, before taking part in the BBC’s ‘Off By Heart Shakespeare’ in which she took on the role of Juliet, performing a famous monologue from Shakespeare’s most romantic play.
