Lauryn Goodman

Lauryn Goodman, an English model and influencer, has gained public recognition through various media appearances and significant legal matters. Her profile rose after her relationship with Premier League footballer Kyle Walker became public, leading to the birth of two children. She is also the older sister of reality television personality Chloe Goodman.

In June 2020, Goodman initiated financial proceedings under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989 in relation to her first child with Kyle Walker. These proceedings concluded with substantial financial provisions for her and her child, including funds for a property, monthly child periodical payments, contributions towards childcare costs, and a new vehicle every four years. Following the birth of her second child with Walker, Kinara, Goodman filed another Schedule 1 application for financial relief within 48 hours of the birth. While some of her claims were accepted, such as global child maintenance payments of £150,000 per annum, educational expenses, and costs for home security and furnishing Kinara’s bedroom, many were rejected by the court, including requests for air conditioning and astroturf.

Justice Hess, overseeing the case, opted to waive anonymity, citing Goodman’s active engagement with the media regarding her children’s paternity. This legal case provided considerable insight into Schedule 1 proceedings, especially concerning individuals with significant wealth. Goodman has been known to leverage her public profile, famously attending Euro 2024 with her son wearing a shirt emblazoned with ‘Daddy’, further establishing her presence in the public eye.
