Leah Blevins

Leah Blevins grew up in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, where she developed her musical talents alongside her twin sister, playing guitar and piano and singing. Her family, particularly her mother’s side, had a strong musical background, with relatives belonging to The Harbor Masters, a gospel group that toured Appalachia in the 1970s and 1980s. This early exposure to music and church significantly influenced her artistic development. She subsequently moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue her career in music, dedicating a decade to crafting her sound and presence within the city’s competitive environment.

Over her career, Leah Blevins has released significant works and collaborated with notable figures in the music industry. Her debut EP, “Runnin’,” marked an early milestone in her recording career. She later released her debut album, “First Time Feeling,” in 2021 through Thirty Tigers. This album was produced by Paul Cauthen, an outlaw country musician, and Beau Bedford of The Texas Gentleman, and was recorded at Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas. The album reflects her personal experiences in Nashville and her respect for traditional country balladry, infused with her own perspectives. Her work has been noted for its vulnerability and ability to connect with audiences.

Blevins has also secured important professional agreements, including a publishing and management deal with Major Bob Music in April 2024. In a significant career turning point, Major Bob Publishing helped her secure a record deal with Dan Auerbach, a notable figure in Nashville’s music scene. She undertakes regular live performances, both solo and as an opening act for other artists, including a documented stint with Paul Cauthen, dates with Kendell Marvel, and performances with The Marcus King Band at larger venues. She also performed an album release show for “First Time Feeling” in Nashville at The Basement East.
