Leva Bates

Leva Bates brings a diverse background in entertainment, from professional wrestling to acting and digital content creation, offering brands a unique blend of performance and pop culture expertise. After making her professional wrestling debut in 2006, Leva Bates quickly established herself by capturing the SCW Women’s Championship in 2008. Her career was built on a foundation of diverse live performance, including significant roles as an actor, dancer, and character performer at Universal Studios Orlando. There, she performed in major stunt shows such as ‘The 8th Voyage of Sindbad’ and portrayed Sarah Connor in ‘Terminator 2: Battle Across Time.’ Following her debut for Shimmer Women Athletes in 2009, Bates formed the tag team Regeneration X with Allison Danger in 2011 and debuted in Shine Wrestling in 2012.

Her tag team success continued with Mia Yim as The Lucha Sisters, winning the Shine Tag Team Championship in 2014. Bates gained international recognition across major wrestling promotions, including TNA/Impact, NXT/WWE, and AEW. During her tenure in NXT/WWE from 2014 to 2015, she debuted as ‘Blue Pants,’ a character that resonated with audiences, gaining significant popularity, and notably appeared at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in 2015. She also secured the WSU Spirit Championship in 2015.

Bates is expanding her creative reach into film, television, and voice-over work, securing roles in commercials, film festival selections, and video games. Her recent projects include contributing to the 2023 video game WrestleQuest and appearing on the Netflix reality show Squid Game: The Challenge in 2023. Bates’ academic foundation, which includes bachelor’s degrees in theater and radio and television production with a minor in dance, was recently recognized when Murray State University named her an Outstanding Young Alumni in the Fine Arts in October 2024.
