Alexis Kaufman was born on August 9, 1991, in Columbus, Ohio. Her early life was rich in sports, including track and field, softball, gymnastics, and cheerleading. She reached NCAA Division I status at the University of Akron and also competed in fitness competitions like the Arnold Classic. A significant turning point in her youth was overcoming a life-threatening eating disorder, which she credits fitness competitions with helping her conquer.
