Steve Trevino is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and producer known for his relatable observational humor on family and married life. After serving as a writer and performer on Comedy Central’s Mind of Mencia from 2005 to 2006, Steve Trevino built a robust career as a stand-up comedian, writer, and producer known for his relatable observational humor. Trevino began his comedy journey in 1997, frequently performing at the Addison Improv Comedy Club in Addison, Texas, and quickly advanced to supporting headlining comedians, including opening for Carlos Mencia early in his career. His writing and producing talents further expanded in 2008 when he joined Pitbull’s mun2 television show, La Esquina, as a writer and producer.

His momentum continued into 2019 with the release of his third special, Steve Treviño: ‘Til Death, available on Amazon Prime Video in January. In June 2020, demonstrating his adaptability during the COVID-19 pandemic, Trevino launched Steve Treviño & Captain Evil: The Podcast alongside his wife, Renae ‘Captain Evil’ Treviño, offering listeners an intimate look into their marriage and family life.
