College gymnast turned millionaire Olivia “Livvy” Dunne summersaulted into the limelight after sharing her impressive floor skills on TikTok. The back flipping social media sensation has now amassed more than 5.9 million followers on the popular social media app, and leading brands and companies are clamouring to offer her lucrative endorsement details. In 2021 Dunne signed with tennis superstars Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic’s agency WME Sports, and she has since made more than $1 million after bagging lucrative collaborations with the likes of active wear company Vuori and fashion brands Forever 21 and American Eagle. In August 2021 the talented gymnast was the most-followed NCAA athlete on social media, and she has now racked up 2 million followers on Instagram to add to her huge following on TikTok.
Born in Hillsdale, New Jersey, Dunne is an artistic gymnastic who competes for Louisiana State University and was a member of the USA gymnastics team in 2017. After the NCAA agreed to lift Name, Image & Likeness (NIL) restrictions in 2021, she began to capitalize on her social media success. With her online audience likely to soar even further, Dunne is primed to snag even more endorsements in the future months, with the potential to eclipse the earnings of many of the world’s best known athletes.
The rising star is keen to play down her superstar status, and is keen to set a good example to other young girls and athletes. She also remains devoted to gymnastics despite the success of her social media side hustle.
