Lourdes Virginia Moran Poe, popularly known as Lovi Poe, is a celebrated Filipino actress and recording artist. She is the daughter of the legendary action star Fernando Poe Jr. Poe first gained prominence with her roles in the GMA drama series “Bakekang” (2006) as Kristal and “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” (2014) as Shiela. She received her first Best Actress award at the 2010 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival for her role as Lilibeth in “Mayohan.” That same year, she won the FAMAS Best Actress award for her portrayal of Kath Asero in “Sagrada Familia.”
In 2021, Poe made a significant career move by transferring to ABS-CBN after 15 years with GMA Network. Her first project with ABS-CBN was the Philippine adaptation of “Flower of Evil,” where she starred alongside Piolo Pascual. Poe also established her production company, C’est Lovi Productions, in partnership with her husband, British movie producer Monty Blencowe.
Poe’s educational background includes graduating from Colegio San Agustin in Makati in 2007 and taking courses at the International Academy of Management and Economics and Miriam College. Beyond her acting career, Poe endorsed her sister Grace Poe in the 2016 and 2019 Philippine elections.
On August 26, 2023, Poe married Monty Blencowe at Cliveden House in England. She also received her first screenwriter credit in 2023 for the Netflix film “Seasons,” in which she starred alongside Carlo Aquino. Poe’s international work includes roles in the Hollywood independent film “Bad Man” and the upcoming films “The Chelsea Cowboy” and “My Sister’s Bones.”
In the Philippines, she completed the drama thriller “Guilty Pleasure” for Regal Entertainment and renewed her endorsement contract with Eevor Skin Care Depot. Despite her busy career, Poe manages a long-distance relationship with her husband, traveling between Manila, Los Angeles, and London.
