Lovi Poe

Lourdes Virginia “Lovi” Moran Poe was born on February 11, 1991, in Quezon City, Philippines. The daughter of acclaimed actor Fernando Poe Jr., she carved her own path in the entertainment industry. Poe graduated high school from Colegio San Agustin in Makati in 2007 and pursued further education at the International Academy of Management and Economics and Miriam College, showcasing a commitment to both her personal and professional development. Her career began in 2005, and she quickly rose to prominence, known for her roles in both television and film.

Poe gained early recognition starring in prominent drama series on GMA Network, including “Bakekang” (2006) as Kristal and “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Real” (2014) as Shiela. Her performance in “Bakekang” earned her the Best New Female TV Personality award at the 21st PMPC Star Awards for Television in 2007. Her acting prowess was further acknowledged with a Best Actress award at the 2010 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival for her role in “Mayohan” and a FAMAS Best Actress award for “Sagrada Familia” in the same year. In 2021, after 15 years with GMA Network, Poe transitioned to ABS-CBN, taking on roles such as Iris Castillo-del Rosario in the Philippine adaptation of “Flower of Evil” (2022).

Beyond acting, Lovi Poe has ventured into production, founding C’est Lovi Productions in 2023 with her husband, British film producer Montgomery Blencowe. She also received her first screenwriter credit for the 2023 Netflix film “Seasons,” in which she also starred. Poe’s international career includes roles in American independent films like “Bad Man.” In addition to her film and television work, she is a recording artist, with two studio albums, “The Best of My Heart” (2006) and “Bloom” (2008), and has performed numerous theme songs for her projects. She has also launched her own beauty line, “Love, You by Lovi,” in collaboration with Ready Set Glow, reinforcing her presence in diverse industries.
