Lucas Brentley Adams is an actor from the United States. He is well-known for his role in True Blood and for his recurring role on the Disney show Liv and Maddie. In 2017, Adams joined the cast of Days of Our Lives and in both 2018 and 2019 was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his work on the show.
Adams initially landed a commercial for Toyota Tundra about three months after moving to Los Angeles, which helped him pay his bills while building a career. In 2012, he made his acting debut in an episode of CBS’s The Young and the Restless. Adams went on to appear in shows including Dexter, Grimm, School of Rock, and Recovery Road. He played Lou in the last season of HBO’s supernatural thriller True Blood in 2014 and began playing Josh Wilcox on the Disney Channel sitcom Live and Maddie the following year. Adams joined the cast of Days of Our Lives as Tripp Dalton in 2017 and has since gone on to appear in over 250 episodes of the show. Adams was cast in the television film Kidnapped by a Classmate, which premiered in January 2020, with Days of Our Lives co-star Paige Searcy. Later in the same year, Adams featured in the latest installment of the American Pie film franchise, American Pie Presents: Girls’ Rules.
