Swedish Dota 2 player Ludwig “zai” Wåhlberg competes for Team Liquid. Wåhlberg won DreamHoN 2012 at the age of 14. Along with fellow HoN pros Ensoe, Tralfamadore, and—most importantly—ppd, he made the switch to Dota 2 in 2013. Together, they had immediate success with the teams Stay Free and, subsequently, Super Strong Dinosaurs.
Wåhlberg switched to the support position and joined ppd, Arteezy, and EG members Fear and UNiVeRsE in team S A D B O Y S in late January 2014, which would be the beginning of his breakout in the Dota 2 scene. S A D B O Y S attracted Evil Geniuses’ attention after going 16-2 in games throughout their 20 days of playing together. S A D B O Y S and Wåhlberg were picked up by Evil Geniuses on February 21st, 2014.
EG had a promising start to the 2017 season, but they were unable to maintain their success, which led to a frustratingly early end at The International 2017. After TI7, Wåhlberg made the decision to leave EG and form a new team with ppd, his previous captain. OpTic Gaming would soon acquire this team. Wåhlberg would return to the offlane at OpTic. Performances significantly improved once Wåhlberg switched back to roaming support in December 2017 and 33 took his place in the offlane. Wåhlberg made the decision to leave OpTic and rejoin Team Secret, where he would once more play in the offlane, despite having a respectable season and finishing in the top eight at The International 2018. After more than three years in Secret and another third-place performance at The International 2021, Wåhlberg left Team Secret to join Team Liquid.
