Luenell Campbell

Luenell Campbell is an accomplished actress, writer, and producer known for her roles in film and television, as well as her stand-up comedy specials and stage performances. After making her film debut in 1993’s ‘So I Married an Axe Murderer’ and appearing in ‘The Rock’ in 1996, Luenell Campbell’s dynamic presence began captivating audiences. Her early career also saw her performing with the Oakland Ensemble Theatre and gaining exposure on KSBT (Soul Beat) television in the 1990s, where she served as video DJ and host of ‘Club 37’. A pivotal moment arrived with her memorable role alongside Sacha Baron Cohen in the 2006 critically acclaimed film ‘Borat: Cultural Learning of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’, a performance that significantly raised her international profile and established her as a comedic force.
