Luka Modric

Luka Modric is a professional footballer globally recognized for his exceptional midfield play and leadership, having steered powerhouse teams to victory across club and international stages. After being named Bosnian Premier League Player of the Year at just 18 in 2003, Luka Modric quickly established himself as a prominent football talent. His professional journey commenced with Zrinjski Mostar, followed by Inter Zapreši? in 2004, where he helped secure second place in the Prva HNL. Returning to Dinamo Zagreb in 2005, Modric was instrumental in the team winning multiple Croatian league titles and the Croatian Cup.

Individually, Modric shattered a decade of dominance by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, earning the prestigious 2018 Ballon d’Or, The Best FIFA Men’s Player award, and the UEFA Men’s Player of the Year Award. Internationally, he captained Croatia to the 2018 FIFA World Cup final, where he was awarded the Golden Ball, and later led them to a third-place finish in the 2022 World Cup, receiving the Bronze Ball.
