Lydia West was born on June 24, 1993, in Islington, London, England. Her acting career began after she trained at the Identity School of Acting. West made her professional debut in 2019, quickly gaining recognition for her role as Bethany Bisme-Lyons in the BBC One and HBO series, ‘Years and Years’. She later played Lucy in the 2020 BBC One/Netflix series ‘Dracula’.

West’s work on ‘It’s a Sin’ in 2021, where she portrayed Jill Baxter, brought her widespread critical acclaim, including a BAFTA nomination.
