Lynette Woodard was born in Wichita, Kansas. Her basketball career began at the University of Kansas, where she established herself as an exceptional athlete. From 1977 to 1981, she led the NCAA in scoring, accumulating 3,649 points, a record that still stands as the all-time leading scorer in NCAA Division I women’s basketball history. Her collegiate achievements earned her multiple All-American honors and solidified her status as one of the sport’s most dominant players.
