Madison O’Connor

Madison O’Connor, born on February 12, 1999, began her dance training in Boca Raton, FL, after her mother observed her mimicking performers on television. Her primary dance styles are Lyrical and Jazz. O’Connor participated in the reality television series “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition” in its inaugural season. During this period, she was a contestant at 13 years old, showcasing her skills in multiple performances across various styles, including solos in Go Go, Bollywood, and Lyrical, and duets and trios in Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. She consistently maintained a strong competitive standing, making it through several elimination rounds and receiving positive feedback from judges for her technical abilities.

Throughout “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition,” O’Connor advanced to the finale. She secured 2nd place in the competition. Her journey included being recognized as a top dancer early in the season, navigating challenges that placed her in the bottom three, and recovering to win group challenges. Notably, she sustained an Achilles tendon injury but continued to perform, demonstrating resilience. Following her appearance on the show, O’Connor continued her dance career, training and performing with Performance Edge 2, her studio in Boca Raton. She has participated in national dance competitions such as NYCDA Nationals in New York City and Onstage New York Nationals, maintaining an active role in competitive dance.

O’Connor has also achieved several accolades in regional competitions, including Regional Junior Miss PrimeTime in 2010, Regional Teen Miss Showbiz in 2013, and Regional Senior Female Outstanding Dancer in 2016. These achievements demonstrate her consistent performance and dedication to dance from a young age through her later teenage years. Abby Lee Miller mentioned potential plans for O’Connor to join “Dance Moms” Season 3, indicating her recognized talent within the industry, although these plans did not materialize.
