Manny Montana

Manny Montana was born on September 26, 1983, in Long Beach, California. He attended Jordan High School, where he earned a football scholarship to California State University Sacramento. An arm injury and repeated shoulder dislocations led him to discontinue football. He subsequently transferred to California State University, Long Beach, where he pursued a major in Journalism and Broadcasting. During his time at Long Beach, he worked as a DJ at the university’s student-radio station, which provided him an internship opportunity at Power 100.3.

Montana began his acting career in 2008, appearing in student films and guest roles in television series. A notable early career milestone was his casting as Johnny “J.T.” Turturro in the USA Network series “Graceland,” a role he maintained from 2013 to 2015, appearing in 38 episodes. In 2015, he expanded his filmography by featuring in Michael Mann’s film “Blackhat” as Lozano. From 2018 to 2021, Montana gained significant recognition for his role as Rio in the NBC series “Good Girls,” where he was a main cast member for 50 episodes. He continued to build his presence in television with a recurring role in “Mayans M.C.” (2022) appearing in 8 episodes as Manny, and a role in “Westworld” (2022) as Carver in 3 episodes. Looking forward, he is slated to appear as Cousin John in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series “Ironheart” in 2025 across 4 episodes. Montana is married to Adelfa Marr, and they have one child.
