Mark Glicini is a professional lacrosse player and leading authority on peak performance. As well as being a professional athlete, he is a qualified physical fitness trainer, mental performance coach, and nutritionist. A graduate of world-famous Yale University, today he is the CEO of Mark Glicini Peak Performance, which works to maximise the performance potential of everyone from professional athletes to executives.
Glicini hails from Mahwah, New Jersey, and it was there that he began his lacrosse career, playing for his high school team. During his junior years, he was named Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year. As a senior, he made the All-State team. His reputation continued after graduation as he was named in the high school’s All-Decade team. During a one-year post-grad course at Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts, he made the All-New England side and was awarded the Benjamin C. Haviland Trophy in honour of his peerless dedication to the sport and the team. Unsurprisingly, he achieved similar success throughout his collegiate career at Yale, winning a host of accolades and ultimately being named in the All-American side, cementing his reputation as one of the top young lacrosse players in the States. After graduation, he immediately signed for MLL side the Chesapeake Bayhawkes, staying with them for nearly three years. He then spent two years with PLL side Chaos before transferring to his current team, NLL side the San Diego Seals.
As well a national lacrosse reputation, Glicini also graduated from Yale with a degree in Economics. After a spell working as a broker, he set up Mark Glicini Peak Performance, which is going from strength to strength.
