Martin Henderson

Martin Henderson is a seasoned American actor who has played a varied set of roles during his career. In recent years, he has been the star of Virgin River, but many fans will know him for his time on Grey’s Anatomy and for his performance in the famous horror film, The Ring.

Henderson began his acting career in 1989, and has since appeared in over forty movies and TV Shows. His first major appearance was in Shortland Street in 1992, which led him to work in soap operas for a while, including Home and Away. However, after deciding he wanted to pursue a career in Hollywood, he moved to America. He appeared in the 1999 film, Kick, for which he earned an AACTA nomination. It was also the stepping stone into his Hollywood career.

Henderson had several brushes with fame when he appeared in the Britney Spears video for Toxic and starred in Little Fish, an award-winning movie. However, Henderson is better known for his starring role in The Ring in 2002. The film is, to this day, considered one of the scariest horror films ever made.

Since then, Henderson’s roles have mostly been contained to TV. He has had several long stints on TV shows, including his role in popular medical drama, Grey’s Anatomy. Now, he’s currently collaborating with Netflix to create Virgin River, an up-and-coming Us drama. His efforts in acting have earned Henderson a large fanbase, and he now has over seven hundred thousand Instagram followers who are eagerly awaiting his next acting role.
