Martin MacDonald holds an MSc, PgCert, and PgDip, showcasing a strong academic background in his field. He previously held registration as a Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition and possesses a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, complemented by postgraduate qualifications in Sports Nutrition and Clinical Nutrition. He is recognized for his commitment to promoting integrity and evidence-based practices within the nutrition industry.

MacDonald founded Mac-Nutrition, a UK-based consultancy that provides nutrition advice across various areas including optimal health, clinical issues, weight loss, sports performance, and workplace wellness. His experience mentoring other professionals led to the creation of The Mac-Nutrition Mentoring Lab, an online platform designed to support health and fitness professionals in business, knowledge, and practice. This platform aims to enhance their efficiency and profitability in their chosen careers.

His career progression culminated in the establishment of Mac-Nutrition Uni, an educational initiative focused on delivering advanced nutrition courses. As the CEO of The Mac-Nutrition Collective, he oversees these ventures, which collectively aim to further the understanding and application of evidence-based nutrition.
